Output Transformers
For
years great strides and discoveries have been made in the
development of resistors, capacitors and other components
for audio use, but the output ransformer has been woefully
neglected. KR Enterprise has filled this void to provide the
hobbyist with a quality output transformer upon which to
build a truly valuable piece of audio gear. KR Enterprise
transformers start with great designs coupled with premium
materials and flawless workmanship to result in the highest
quality of transformers. Each transformer is vacuum
impregnated and potted during assembly. The KR Enterprise
output transformers are the perfect match for higher powered
single-ended (SE) triode tube amplifiers.
SE
amplifiers by design have very simple circuitry with fw
components in the actual signal path. As a result, every
component is critical in terms of the sonic signature it
imparts on the resulting musical experience. With SE
amplifiers, the difference between the components selected
can be phenomenal, and phenomenal is what you get with the
KR Enterprise SE output transformers. These transformers
provide a better top-to-bottom tonal balance with extension
at both ends of the spectrum without the ‘forward’
midrange typical of other transformers. The KR Enterprise SE
transformers won’t get in the way of the musical signal
and won’t introduce any unwanted colorations.
